Photography artist Karoliina Veijo and nature photographer Johanna Sandin celebrate the 150th anniversary of Jean Sibelius through modern nature photography. The views of Töölö’s Sibelius Park have turned into mystical, symmetrical fairytale landscapes through Veijo’s art. Sandin has captured the garden of Ainola in her photorealistic shots. The exhibition also features selected works of Sandin’s cool, blue ”Hanko – The Serious Sea” collection. The exhibition is open at Gallery Veranda / Finlandia Hall, Helsinki between November 3rd 2015 and January 8th 2016 on weekdays 9am-7pm and always two hours before concerts. Entrance: Karamzininranta / Café Veranda / K2. Free admission. ”Fairytale Forests – Sibelius Park & Ainola” – a 13 minute / 40 works of art – video collage can be seen at Youtube: https://goo.gl/IGTpD0 Info: https://www.facebook.com/VeijoAndSandin
