SibHack — 3 days of code, music and digital creativity
Posted on 13 Aug 2014
The overarching theme of SibHack is continuous creativity. Sibelius himself once tested the thin surface of the ice during spring, examined the splashing sound of its melting water, and rushed home to improvise a musical piece about it. In a way, he was a hacker of his time.
In the spirit of Sibelius, we are holding a competition for everyone hovering in the middle ground between art and technology. The objective is to create informative, experiential and experimental digital content, inspired by Sibelius and the world of art. SibHack culminates in an event that is open to the audience on Sunday 19 October 2014, at 2-4 p.m., in Ateneum Hall.
